Spent the whole weekend glued to this thing, and honestly the castle level design is way more clever than I remembered from 1994. Rex controls tight enough that dying feels like my fault, not the game's, and rescuing Rexette hits that perfect nostalgic sweet spot.
I completely forgot how hard those platforming sections in the castle get, but the nostalgia hit is real. The re-release keeps the original 1994 feel spot-on, and the quest to save Rexette from Sethron is just as charming as I remember.
