The screen still pops with those vibrant colors on my modern handheld, and the difficulty curve is just as brutal as I remember from 2001. If you’re into tight, old-school shooters, this one’s got the intensity to keep you glued to the D-pad.

So glad I can finally play this on modern hardware again — it still hits that fast, screen-clearing shooter rhythm that made the original so addictive. The difficulty curve is unforgiving but fair, and the re-release keeps the Game Boy Color charm intact.
